Where it Began
Turrentine’s Smoking Good BBQ was started by Kermit Turrentine. He started cooking for church events, making sure his buddies were full, fat and happy! Kermit won the Ruritan Barbecue Cookoff award for his grilling talent and now we are able to share that great talent with you. Turrentine’s Smoking Good BBQ serves only the finest BBQ around. We smoke it with oak wood and our special hickory blend. Then we add our favorite seasonings. Best of all, we cook on site and cater to you. We are always ready to bring our BBQ catering gear and smoked meat to your location. Our BBQ preparation has been the same since our forefather’s time. We know that every occasion, from picnic to wedding or any corporate event, is important to you.
